Mapbox Traffic provides constantly updating congestion for both directions on two-way roads. Traffic data aligns with Mapbox Streets roads layer and you can filter based on class values. The congestionfield is a measure of the relative slowdown a road segment is experiencing. The values range from low to severe.

When styling congestion, our cartographer's typically add a positive line-offsetto the layer to visually separate the directions of travel. While styling, reference the Mapbox Traffic data overview open to ensure you are assigning the appropriate class values to your map style. Keep in mind, this data does not appear until zoom level 6.0.
